Your help is urgently needed.
NYC has committed to closing Floyd Bennett Field by January 15, recognizing the vulnerable situation of migrant families housed on federal land. While this is an incredible victory, the families need our continued support as they navigate being rehoused during the winter/holiday season.
It is our priority to provide continued support as these families navigate the challenges that come with moving to new shelters, particularly during the winter months.
This work is so important to us that we do not take a percentage of donations made to the FBF Neighbors Fund. All donations go towards supporting the families at Floyd Bennett Field.
Any amount you can donate makes a difference.
Our History
Past community donations have made an incredible difference. We distributed $91,200 in grants in 2020. In 2021, we gave 5 grants to back-of-house restaurant employees who lost their jobs or who didn’t qualify for other forms of aid. More recently, we have focused on neighborhood street cleanups and on coat drives in partnership with CHiPS and FBF Neighbors.
